Delivery & Inspection Guidelines

 

Inspection and Reporting Damage Immediately Upon Delivery

Upon receiving your delivery, we kindly request that you inspect the items promptly. Please follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth process:

Refusing Shipments Due to Box Damage

1. Immediate Inspection: Check the delivered items for any visible damage to the box or pallet.

2. Visible Damage: If the delivery box shows signs of significant damage (e.g., tears, punctures, or water damage), you have the right to refuse the shipment.

3. Product Inspection: Before refusing shipment, inspect the contents of the box if possible. If the items inside are damaged or missing, note this on the delivery receipt.

4. Documentation: Take clear photographs of the damaged box and any affected items and note this on the delivery receipt.

5. Notification: Inform the delivery driver of the damage and your decision to refuse the shipment. Ensure that the driver notes the refusal and the reason on their delivery record.

6. Report Damage: Contact HONEST HOME within 24 hours to report any damage and provide photographs and details of the damage.


Inspection and Reporting Damage After Delivery

1. Immediate Inspection: Check the delivered items for any visible damage or discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt.

2. Notification: Report any damages or discrepancies to HONEST HOME within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Inspection by Carrier: HONEST HOME will notify Shipping Carrier of damage. Shipping Carrier will schedule an inspection.

4. Retention of Packaging: Keep all original packaging materials until the inspection process is complete and any issues are resolved.
